what a surprise. the interior is gutted..upstairs fireplace is gone.
Adding on out back. Old entrance to basement off the kitchen is
floored over and access with be from the addition off the back.

Lest you think we are spending too much time where various alcoholic beverages are produced...we arrived too late for the Jim Beam sampling and will only be able to visit one more distillery to fortify Chet for the crossing of the Ohio river into Wheelersburg...those of you who have heard the stories will appreciate this! Linda needs no fortification, she thinks the place in heaven on earth!

Nice old tavern...many illustrious people have visited, other than the
Foster's--as in Steven, Abe Lincoln and his Mom and Dad, Jesse James
shot up one of the rooms, George Rogers Clark (revolutionary general),
Gen Patton, Eisenhower. We ate dinner there and sampled some fine
Kentucky bourbon.
