Hello to all! This blog is dedicated to Chet and Linda Foster's 40th anniversary trip! It will be 40 days and 40 nights of Chet and Linda driving across the wilderness of western Canada and, eventually, Alaska! Linda and Chet will be posting on here from wherever they are in the world. The trip starts July 4th and goes to August 13th!

WE CAMPED!!!
We are doing laundry and will post pictures soon. YES we did camp last night! and we survived...no bears. We stayed in Jasper National Park in Alberta, CA.
I have new neighbors at the beach and guess where they are from ALASKA, drove here and think you are crazy to drive both ways they did 6500 miles.....Nice couple with two high school age kids. Moved here for the weather......Love andi
Shew!!!! Glad you made it. A man was mauled to death in Montana and two others were injured by a grizzly sow and her 3 cubs. They were dragged out of their tents at a campground. They have caught all 4 bears. The sow wll be put down for testing (A nice way of saying to find human remains), the cubs are being sent to a zoo. One witness said, "Let me know what zoo because I want to make sure I never go there.
