don' get too excited, but we are almost in the geographic center of the lower 48 states...it is noted on the map! We are in Hayes, Kansas tonight and the Central Time zone..only one hour difference. Enjoyed Boulder, could easily spend more time there. Colorado has a lot of nice towns and cities. They are very family and pedestrian friendly!
We saw a ring necked pheasant fly across the highway in front of us and two deer with trophy racks in a corn field-Kansas in addition to being extremely flat, has mile after mile of corn, sunflowers and other crops. tomorrow we should be able to say...we're not in Kansas anymore...
