Fwd: Chet on the shore of the Great Salt Lake at Antelope Island

Only three things can live in the waters of the lake-brine shrimp,
brine flies and algae. Anything you see on the sand that is brown is
flies. They moved like a wave when we walked. Did not bite or swarm
on us, but you could hear a low hum as the wave of flies moved after
being disturbed. the water did not move...very still...
