Fwd: Historic highway

what you see through the bug spattered windshield is the very first
finished section of the Interstate Highway system! next town is
Dwight Eisenhower's childhood home...get it?!?...(he proposed the idea
and it is officially the Dwight D Eisenhower Interstate Highway
System. He had gotten stuck moving army men in American before WWII.
during the war he admired the German Autoban and the efficiency of
moving troops on the highway. He proposed the roads for the USA for
military expediency to move troops and land planes. Every so many
miles must be straight enough to use the road as a landing strip...a
little trivia!)
